Position Summary :
Park Nicollet Radiology team member’s partner with providers to ensure that each patient has a safe, caring experience. We value teamwork and partnering because it promotes safety, quality, and caring for everyone we work with.

Patient Care Assistants (PCA) will utilize a broad base of skills in basic patient care, to assist patients with preparation for exam, during and / or after exam.
PCA will establish positive rapport with patients, explaining what they should expect during each step of care. All interactions will be handled in a professional, caring, courteous and safe manner to ensure quality care.
PCA will communicate with all other radiology team members to assure positive transitions in care. PCA may assist the technologist or radiologist in the performance of basic patient care.
Perform general clerical tasks within the department to ensure efficiency during the patient’s radiology imaging exams and services.
Education / Experience :
Previous office experience in a health care environment preferred. Previous patient care experience in medical environment preferred.
Special Knowledge / Skills / Certifications / Licenses :
Strong clinical and human relations skills.
Basic knowledge of office duties and equipment.
No previous certifications or licenses required.
Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients.
Must obtain CPR (Basic Life Support) certification once in position.
