PM&R Medical Director Opportunity with CentraCare St. Cloud Hospital
Inpatient practice 60 minutes from Minneapolis

- Inpatient practice for Adult PM&R; seven on / seven off rotation
- Two provider groups and Advanced Practice Providers
- Experienced multidisciplinary team of Occupational, Physical, and Speech Therapists
- Support from Hospitalists, RN Case Management, Social Work, Psychology, and alternative medicine.
- 20-bed inpatient Rehabilitation unit at CentraCare- St. Cloud Hospital
Schedule
1.0 FTE
7 on-7 off - Tuesday Monday
Qualifications
Board Certification / Board Eligibility in PM & R preferred. Board Certified Neurologist or Hospitalists with 2 years inpatient rehabilitation medicine training or experience.
Director Responsibilities Include
- Actively promotes and implements systems to assure patient safety, high quality, and cost-effective medical practice. Works closely and cooperatively with the medical staff, employees, and management in SCH and CCH, and governance committees to advance the organization's mission, vision, and core values.
- Lead efforts to research evidence based practices, implements standards of care, clinical pathways and protocols, and promotes clinical quality and safety improvement through a multidisciplinary care team
- Participates in the development of the physician recruiting plan that aligns with the needs of the program's strategic plan;
directly participates in the recruiting of physicians and other program professionals as required.
- Participates in outreach, community relations, and education activities
- Serves as a member of the Neurosciences Section Board
- Assures competency of Clinical Partners through assessment of competency and provision of training and education. Helps Clinical Partners and other allied health professionals develop individual plans to meet program goals through education, mentoring, and other self-growth opportunities
- Maintain a monthly log of all physician duties as Medical Director and submit a monthly statement for services provided.
