We are an established veterinary hospital looking for an experienced veterinary technician. This position includes performing tasks such as assisting veterinarians in exam rooms and surgeries, drawing blood / placing IVs and catheters, and conducting minor laboratory work.
Periodically, the veterinary technician may also handle receptionist duties including answering phones and setting up appointments.
The candidate must be confident, have a strong work ethic, and be able to work well as part of a team. Strong communication skills, good energy, and a love for companion pets is a must! This position will require the veterinary technician to work four or five days a week.
We offer good hours, competitive hourly wage based on experience, and a pleasant working environment. A caring and compassionate attitude is essential for success in this position.
