ROLE : Java Application Development Manager
Duration : Direct Hire
Location : This position will work from home;occasional planned travel to an office location may be required. However, this position is permitted to workat an office location if requested by the team member
Open to candidates across all time zones in UnitesStates but must be willing to work 9am 4pm EST core hours
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years in leading project teams.
- Minimum of 3 years providing leadership andcapacity management for full-stack web development teams in an environmentincluding Angular, Java, and a CMS platform
- Experience with Azure B2C or other SSO across weband mobile platforms
- Demonstrated experience managing vendors andinternal stakeholders
- Experience with and willingness to encourage anddefend the work-life balance of your team
- Proven experience as an effective mentor.
- Practical expertise in software Developmentlifecycle.
- Acts as functional expert; stays current on bestpractices and applies them effectively.
- Responds promptly and effectively to resolveincidents, tasks, and projects.
- Shows initiative by working hard and smart.
- Solves problems at the source by offering simple,working solutions.
- Communicates changes clearly, concisely, andobjectively (verbally & in writing).
- Anticipates the impact of a change or projectacross multiple systems.
- Willingness to participate in an on-callrotation.
- Champions the current process and recommends dataand process improvements.
Preferred Experience :
- Flutter, Liferay, and Spring Boot experience
- SharePoint experience
- Experience with Dynatrace, Google Analytics,Adobe Web Analytics, or other metrics and monitoring tools
- Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms in amixed on-prem / cloud environment
- Be able to research and resolve a wide range ofissues
- Demonstrate a motivation and capability to teachothers
- Ability to gain trust of others and builds solidrelationships across and vertically throughout the organization and relate wellto all business users
- Ability to communicate effectively (both writtenand verbal) with all levels
- Be self-motivated and directed.
