ROLE PURPOSE

The Human Resources Manager serves as a partner to key strategic business functions in Carrollton, TX to achieve organizational goals and objectives.

This includes, but is not limited to, directing and coordinating human resources activities, such as talent acquisition and retention, employee relations, leadership development, coaching on culture, compensation and HR administration.

This leadership role also manages a HR Recruiting Specialist and HR Generalist to support the Carrollton, TX facility.

THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE IN THIS CAREER OPPORTUNITY :

  • Leads talent acquisition strategy and scorecard metrics across functions. Analyzes talent data offering recommendations to improve hiring, recruiting and the culture
  • Manages employee relations matters such as employee complaints, harassment allegation, and other workplace issues
  • Develops and executes performance management, engagement and recognition programs and strategies
  • Proactively guides and coach’s business leaders in resolving discipline issues and ensures compliance with applicable statues.

Reviews and coaches Managers in the Performance Improvement Planning and the Corrective Action Process to improve overall performance and behaviors with business partners

  • Delivers Management and Employee Training with business clients
  • Manages recruiting and retention efforts to source non-exempt and exempt talent with the HR Specialist. Proven track record of screening and hiring top quality candidates
  • Assumes other HR responsibilities as assigned

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE POSITION :

Education Level :

Bachelor’s Degree

Qualifications :

  • Minimum 5 years of Employee Relations and HR Generalist experience
  • Strong knowledge of principles and practices of Human Resources
  • Minimum of 4 years of Recruiting experience hiring high quality temp and perm positions from a variety of sources including direct hire, social media, job boards, recruiting agencies and networking events
  • Advanced employment law and legal aspects knowledge and expertise
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) / SHRM-CP certification a plus
  • Experience in a production / manufacturing environment a plus

  • Must be able to function in a high-volume environment where sense of urgency is required, while adhering to accuracy, thoroughness and follow through
  • Must be able to handle confidential information with great sensitivity
