We are searching for a Software Engineer II, DSP in Scottsdale, AZ to develop amp models and effects for guitar and bass amplifiers.
You will have the opportunity to learn from existing products, but also to chart the course for future technology-based amplifiers.
You are a self-starter, with a proven ability to continuously learn on your own.This is a hybrid role based out of Scottsdale, AZ.
Essential Functions : Develop amp model and effect algorithms and related technologyCollaborate with coworkers as a member of a product-focused SCRUM agile teamWith guidance implement audio algorithms and application features in C++Compose unit testsWrite development tools and test scripts in pythonPropose, document, and implement better ways of doing thingsWork with the product team to define features Qualifications : 2+ years professional software development experience1+ years C++ experience, embedded preferred1+ years combined experience with other high level languages (Python, C, Java, C#)Experience developing digital audio effect algorithms, plugin experience beneficialFamiliarity with amp modeling techniquesFamiliarity with guitar effect algorithmsReal-time audio processing experienceEveryday experience using Linux for development, including the command line
