- Recognizing and meeting required deadlines.
- Turn project specifications into 'Weidmuller language'.
- Complete cost calculation spreadsheets and calculate quotation prices as required.
- Use AutoCAD to determine enclosure / terminal / entry possibilities as and when required in line with the assembly manual.
- Check lead-time status for items on box / assembly quotations in conjunction with supply chain.
- Obtain best possible pricing by research / knowledge / negotiation.
- Develop pricing summaries and fulfil other various ad-hoc requests to assist commercial Managers decisions making.
- Preparing the quotation.
- Highlight technical deviations / concessions on offer in line with the assembly manuals.
- Prepare job packs for production of products.
- Follow solutions process.
- Update and enter actions in the relevant system.
- Prepare commercial evaluations from project enquires : Review customer's terms and conditions of purchase and relate them to the Weidmuller language, making note of any commercial deviations seeking advice as and when required.
- Raise and / or complete any documentation requirements for the tendering process.
- Co-ordinate all communications between customer, relevant WL staff, and sub-supplier.
- Ensure timely delivery of assembly tender bids.
