Business Development Representative - ComplyAuto ComplyAuto is a RegTech company offering cloud-based software that helps companies enhance their compliance and security capabilities while becoming more efficient and cost-effective.
ComplyAuto manages and automates compliance decisions, performing tasks that would normally require manually-intensive processes and human intelligence.
ComplyAuto began as a privacy compliance company for automotive dealers but has quickly expanded into other verticals and compliance areas including cybersecurity, EHS (environmental, health, and safety), and legal compliance.

Salary Range : $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year and bonus potential. Total compensation including bonus will range from $60,000-$75,000.

Responsibilities :
As a Business Development Representative (Outbound), your primary responsibility will be to initiate and manage outbound calls and communication to potential clients with the goal of promoting and selling our products / services.
You will play a pivotal role in expanding our client base and achieving sales targets through effective communication and persuasion.
Working hours are Monday through Friday, 9 : 00am to 5 : 30pm PST, MST, or CST.
- Conduct a high volume of outbound calls and emails to potential leads and existing clients.
- Identify and qualify potential leads, gather essential information, and document prospects' interests or objections accurately
- Set up initial meetings between prospective clients and our sales team
- Accurately record call outcomes, client information, and sales data in our CRM Hubspot
- Stay informed about the features, benefits, and pricing of our products / services to answer client inquiries effectively.
- Ability to handle rejection professionally and persist in pursuing leads.
- Prospecting : Identify and target new car automobile dealerships in specified territories not currently utilizing any ComplyAuto products or services..
- Cold Calling : Initiate outbound cold calls to key decision-makers, introduce ComplyAuto, and schedule demos of our products and services.
- Email Outreach : Create and send compelling emails to prospective clients, highlighting the benefits of using ComplyAuto products and services.
- Lead Qualification : Assess the potential of leads and ensure they meet our criteria before scheduling the demo for the sales team.
- Maintain Accurate Records : Keep detailed and up-to-date records of interactions with potential clients using HubSpot so we can review KPIs for potential bonus eligibility.
- Market Research : Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor offerings, dealership needs, and how ComplyAuto's offerings can solve dealer pain points to tailor your pitch effectively.
- Collaboration : Work closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth transition of demos to sales and maintain open communication regarding dealer feedback so you may work in tandem with sales for post-demo follow-up.
- Achieve Targets : Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly KPI targets and demo counts.
Required Qualifications :
- Associate degree in business, or a related field; or at least two years of Business Development Representative outbound sales experience.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate over the phone and in written communication.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to meet regular attendance expectations and meet tight deliverables deadlines
- Familiarity with Google suite and / or Google Sheets / Excel

Preferred Qualification s :
- Experience in a SaaS environment
- At least 1 year of experience with Hubspot
- Experience working in a fully remote environment
- 1 to 2 years prior experience selling Saas to automotive dealers
