The Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee invites applications and nominations for a non-tenure track position in the Department of Finance.
The position will be under either the lecturer title series or the teaching professor title series, with rank and classification depending upon the candidate’s qualifications.
We will conduct interviews virtually.
The primary responsibilities of the position will be teaching undergraduate finance classes and helping students outside of the classroom enhance their skills.
Candidates must be able to work effectively within the Department, College and University.

The Department of Finance is one of seven departments within the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee.

Finance is a popular major and collateral at the University of Tennessee and includes curriculum at the undergraduate, MBA, executive and doctoral levels;

Required : A Master’s degree or higher in finance or a related field in hand as of the starting date of employment is required for the position in the lecturer title series.
An appointment in the teaching professor title series requires a . in finance or a related field in hand as of the start date.
Preferred : The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in student success, demonstrated effectiveness in teaching at the undergraduate levels, and experience effectively utilizing technology to teach and engage a large number of students.
Industry experience or related certifications is desirable but not required.
