About the Role :
We're seeking creative full-time educators passionate about early childhood development.
The ideal candidates will :
- Plan and deliver engaging curriculum.
- Schedule, prepare, and conduct parent-teacher conferences.
- Communicate professionally with parents and coworkers.
- Interacting appropriately and supportively with children.
The J’s Early Childhood Program is state-accredited and licensed, utilizing the Reggio Emilia approach and Conscious Discipline framework to provide value-driven programming.
We care for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years in a nurturing environment, operating Monday through Friday, 7 : 30 am to 5 : 30 pm.
Flexibility to work within these hours is required.
Qualifications :
- Minimum age of 18.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Prior experience working with children.
- Prior educational experience.
- Willingness to pursue a minimum of nine credit hours in Early Childhood Education if needed (funded by The J).
- Experience with the Reggio Emilia Approach is a plus.
- Must register with the MO Family Care Registry and maintain active registration.
- Annual TB testing and current Hepatitis A vaccinations required.
