Job Description

  • Implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, procedures and special tests, and documenting treatment as required by company policy and local / state / federal rules and regulations.
  • Ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' conditions.
  • Assessing and evaluating patient needs for, and responses to, care rendered.
  • Applying sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.
  • Providing primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
  • Administering over-the-counter and prescription medications as ordered.
  • Collaborating with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients.
  • Directing and guiding ancillary personnel and maintaining standards of professional nursing.
