Your role :
In your role as Application Support Analyst you will, under the general direction of the IT Infrastructure Manager, have diverse responsibilities for the implementation, maintenance, and support of the company enterprise applications to include but not limited to Microsoft Windows and third-party applications.
The Application Support Analyst will be responsible for the administration and maintenance of our applications such as ServiceNow, Microsoft System Center Configuration manager (SCCM) for windows operating system software development and patching.
In addition, the Application Support Analyst will work closely with both the System Administrator and our Helpdesk service team to complete tasks such as Microsoft Windows software deployments, patching, application installations, and onboarding.
In this role you will :
- Administrate and implement new functionality within the ServiceNow environment.
- Perform the daily, monthly, and annual performance of computer systems to include, but not limited to, Microsoft update patches and enterprise software updates.
- Maintain both Microsoft and third-party software updates and versioning inventory using SCCM and SolarWinds patch manager.
- Deliver service to both internal and external members that is in alignment with the credit union’s Service Promises and Service Standards and meet all established service goals.
- Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, and peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications.
Train users in the proper use of hardware and software.
Maintain record of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial action taken, and installation activities.
Enter commands and observe system functioning to verify correct operations, detect errors and ensure backup of critical data through system backups.
- Assist our ATM vendors to perform ATM maintenance, updates, and resolve malfunctions utilizing support sites.
- Prepare evaluations of software or hardware and recommend improvements or upgrades. Read trade magazines and technical manuals, and attend conferences, seminars or webinars to maintain knowledge of hardware and software.
Conduct office automation feasibility studies, including workflow analysis, space design, and cost comparison analysis. Confer with staff, users, and management to establish requirements for new systems or modifications
- Refer major hardware or software problems or defective products to vendors or technicians for service. Oversee and coordinate workers engaged in problem-solving, monitoring, and installing data communication equipment and software.
- Maintain and update ServiceNow environment, implementing new modules as required.
- Maintain a solid understanding of PC's and a wide variety of hardware and software, responding to any computer hardware / software problem and resolve in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Monitor and make the required updates and modifications to keep the Credit Union system current with new technological changes.
Identify opportunities to improve services to the credit union and / or the members through new products and technologies.
- Maintain a professional, courteous and friendly atmosphere to all users.
- Maintain and monitor a secure network environment insuring availability of all critical systems to members and branch locations.
- Comply with all security guidelines related to physical and information security.
- Comply with the requirements of all Credit Union policies, procedures, and guidelines including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering regulations as they relate to the position.

Requirements
What we're looking for : You have strong problem-solving skills. You have experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
You have solid technical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and remedy issues with PC hardware, software, scripting, and Local Area Network.
You are no stranger to a fast-paced environment and tight deadlines, and you are relentless in ensuring that work is completed through effective task delegation.
You naturally build strong relationships and establish credibility with a wide range of leaders and participants as a trusted colleague.
You know how to synthesize and translate information for a broad spectrum of audiences.
You'll need to have :
- Associates degree or higher in related field or achievement of formal certifications in the industry as equivalent to an associates degree
- One or more years of similar or related experience
Even better if you have :
- Previous / existing experience working in a credit union or other financial institution
- Relevant industry certifications
