About The Position
- Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Medical Surgical Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night 3x12-Hour (18 : 00 - 06 : 30) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum 2 years required License : IN or compact license required;
- must be in hand for start dates 2-4 weeks out, or must have started the licensing process for start dates 4+ weeks out Certifications : BLS;
IN state license and required certifications must be in hand prior to start Must-Have : Experience with voiding trials and / or urogyn surgeries- Experience in bariatric surgery, thyroidectomy, bowel obstruction, and care of Brain Injury Patients- Ability to float within hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals- COVID-19 vaccine (required from 9 / 1 onwards) with exemptions for medical or religious reasons (documentation required)- Flu vaccine required, with medical / religious exemptions accepted- First-time travelers are accepted Job Description : Provide care on a 31-bed med-surg unit specializing in general surgery, urology, gynecology, and bariatric surgery- Maintain a patient ratio of 1 : 6- Participate in charge responsibilities- Follow all compliance requirements including accredited degree from ACEN or CCNE- Provide references from two supervisors- Expected to work two out of three major holidays- Participate in a 12-hour orientation- Continuous professional growth opportunities- Work in a team-oriented environment ensuring comprehensive carePlease note that local candidates may have specific rules, and floating is 100% required for all travelers.
