Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Tax Associate to join our growing tax team. This role will report to the Tax Director and will assist with various areas of tax, including compliance, planning and tax accounting.

We are looking for a person who has a strong understanding of corporate income tax accounting and compliance. The right candidate is interested in expanding their tax knowledge and would like more opportunities to problem solve with cross-functional teams.

Candidates must have strong organizational and communication skills, can balance competing priorities and is comfortable working with big data.

Successful candidates will take initiative and can work in a dynamic environment across functions and geographies.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Prepare tax workpapers and supporting documentation for federal, international and state income tax returns, including partnership capital rolls, tax basis reconciliation of fixed assets, and state apportionment, tax equity liability calculations.
  • Calculate quarterly income tax estimates and year end extensions, ensuring payments are made by due dates.
  • Work with external consultants for preparation and review of income tax compliance.
  • Assist with the preparation of the quarterly and year-end global tax provision, including deferred tax assets and liabilities, global income taxes payable and required footnotes and disclosures.
  • Assist with global transfer pricing documentation and analyses.
  • Prepare and file sales and use tax returns for annual filings in the US, and outside the US as required, ensuring payments are made by due dates.
  • Prepare monthly tax account reconciliations and prepare journal entries.
  • Maintain and monitor the global tax filing calendar to ensure timely reporting and payments.
  • Manage and assist in responding to inquiries from tax authorities in connection to notices and examinations.
  • Manage in office correspondence or mailings.
  • Support ongoing tax planning projects, including tax research, and modeling / forecasting tax impacts.

What you Bring :

Salary Range : $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 USD
