Job Description
At Capgemini, we seek a highly skilled Senior Electrical Design Engineer to work with our smart grid metering, and this industry is undergoing progressive change.
You’ll be working closely with our communicative and cooperative customers to ensure our solutions meet their needs. You will guide the development of the our new products and systems that will function for decades as the groundwork that makes our smart grid and a balanced future a reality such as participating in the design of our new products in the following applications :
- Software-defined wireless and powerline communications
- Embedded computing for Edge Intelligence
- Large-scale mesh networks
- Solid-state electricity meters
- Development of ASICs.
- IOT device.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead our new product development and validate SOC, high speed digital interface, NAND, LPDDR2, eMMC and misc. analog circuits using oscilloscopes, logic analyzer and chamber.
- Support design and our projects in the areas of regulatory compliance, reliability analysis and testing, components selections and development process.
- Write clear and detailed design and validation documentation and work with our manufacturing in defining the tests and fixtures needed for our programming, functional verification and final tests.
- Provide technical support for our internal departments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Electrical / Electronic Engineering required, Master’s degree preferred.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience related to development and validation of our SOC, high speed digital interfaces, LPDDR, NAND, eMMC, signal integrity, ARM, DSP, power management systems, and ASICs.
- Expertise with laboratory instruments and equipment and familiarity with our CAD tools.
- Good understanding of our RF circuits is a plus. Electrical design, Validation engineer.
