The Credit & Route Accounting Analyst is responsible for the oversight, planning and maintenance of customer master data, route settlement, credit and pricing analyses across RBDC systems.
You will perform frequent analysis of customer master data to ensure data quality of key customer information.
Financial responsibilities include making important credit decisions to minimize RBDC's financial risk and exposure. You will lead RBDC and RBCD (Canada) day closing, including sales, cash received, and inventory movements.
You will work with multiple systems, including SAP S / 4, Spring RAS, and the RBDC DCC application. You will use process automation / RPA solutions for efficiency and evaluate the processes for relevant improvement opportunities.

Set up new customer accounts in accordance with company policies
Audit and maintain existing customer information in database
Manage import of new customer sales history, new locations, and assist with new product set up
Analyze customer master data and ensure data quality of key customer information
Support new launches and expansions
Be a subject matter expert on pricing / promotional / product questions or issues
Develop customer metrics to measure KPI’s and report to management.
Review, evaluate and assess customer credit applications by analyzing internal and external variables and credit ratings
Evaluate customer credit limits in accordance with the RBDC Credit Policies
Analyze customer metrics, payment history and risk to increase / decrease customers credit limits when necessary
Establish effective reporting practices to minimize financial exposure
Lead the daily close process across 140+ RBDC facilities and supported Canada locations
Ensure the daily system close is timely, effective, and accurate
Validate inventory adjustments and ensure load sheets are balanced daily
Find solutions to system close errors, such as inventory issues, and route balancing
Innovate to improve processes and internal controls
Develop and set up pricing and promotional zones for all RBDC customers
Oversee pricing, promotions and bill-backs (discounts)
Oversee customer accounts and identify potential pricing or product errors
Drive the RBDC VIP process to ensure correct pricing is established for each customer tier
Measure efficiency and effectiveness of data processes
Create effective and accurate reports for participation bill-backs and customer discounts
Partner with upper management in developing KPI's
Perform ad hoc reporting as needed
- Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 3 years of industry-related experience
- 2+ years in accounting and / or bookkeeping experience
- High proficiency in Excel
- Robustcomputer skills with a good ability to learn new systems
- Self-directed; requires limited oversight
- Work independently and problem solve issues
- SAP Experience
- Beverage / CPG / Distribution Experience
- Experience with credit agencies (D&B, Experian, etc.)
