We are in search of a meticulous and analytical Accounts Payable Systems Supervisor / Manager to join our team in the legal industry, located in NEW YORK, New York.
As the Accounts Payable Systems Supervisor / Manager, your role will primarily revolve around managing our accounts payable system, conducting detailed analysis for efficiency improvements, and leading our accounts payable team.
Responsibilities :
- Supervise and manage the company's accounts payable system to ensure smooth financial operations
- Utilize Elite 3E system to perform detailed analysis for identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements
- Develop and present accurate financial reports to senior management in a timely manner
- Regularly review and update accounts payable policies and procedures to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of data within the Elite 3E system
- Collaborate closely with other departments to facilitate accurate flow of financial information within the organization
- Lead projects related to enhancements and upgrades of the accounts payable system
- Ensure all transactions are in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Proficiency in using Elite 3E software
- Extensive knowledge and experience in accounts payable systems
- Proven ability to supervise and manage a team effectively
- Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Relevant detail oriented certification such as CPA is preferred
- Proven experience in a similar role within the legal industry.
