The Role :
Our site in Aurora is seeking a CMP Slurry Development Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2025 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration.
What You'll Do :
- Test various ceria / zirconia particles and organic additives for the purpose of researching the interaction among particles, additives, and wafers.
- Support mentors in the experiments and be accountable for executing assigned tasks as committed. Understand project management tools for efficient execution of assigned tasks.
- Communicate efficiently and timely with various audiences. Select proper media, level of details, and manner for conveying technical reports, project risks, safety incidents, conflicts, etc.
without clogging communication channels.
Adhere to policy of zero release of and exposure to hazardous materials.
What We Seek :
Undergraduate or graduate student majoring in Chemistry
Familiarity with chemicals, some lab experience (can be on campus)
Experience with Microsoft Office programs
Outstanding Candidates Will Have :
- The ability to adapt to changing circumstances, navigate challenges, and proactively seek solutions.
- The ability to understand and develop metrics to validate performance.
- The ability to collaborate effectively with team members
- Understanding of safety standards and regulatory compliance.
Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year :
Chemistry / material science majors preferred, graduating in Spring 2025 or lat
Eligibility :
Must be a currently enrolled student
Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January 2025-June 2025
Must be familiar with the universities requirements to participate in a co-op program
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
