Job Description : Responsibilities
Responsibilities
The Health Program Administrator will assist in the coordination of administrative duties related to laboratory practices integral to the Division of Infectious Diseases' ability to provide effective and flexible response to public health needs to provide the necessary administrative support during current and future emergency biothreat events, disease outbreaks, pandemics, and surge testing events.
- Duties will include but are not limited to : assisting in the coordination or facilitation of personnel transactions for surge hiring;
- contributing toward the development and implementation of grant applications for outbreak procurements to ensure sufficient inventory for emergency response;
- maintain detailed tracking and reporting of emergency purchasing activities to ensure appropriate expenditures; preparing grant related budget summaries and performing other appropriate grant related duties;
assisting with developing and monitoring subcontracts.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field and two years of experience in the administration of personnel, fiscal, or other related operational activity;
OR an Associate's degree in a related field and four years of such experience; OR six years of such experience. A Master’s degree in a related field may substitute for one year of such experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in purchasing, preparing grants, progress reports and budgets.
