Job Details
- IU Health is now offering charge pay, which is a $3.00 bill rate bump per hour.
- MUST BE FLEXIBLE WITH WEEKEND REQUIREMENTS, WEEKEND REQUIREMENT WILL BE BASED ON UNIT NEEDS.
- TRAVELERS MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 50% OF THE WEEKENDS IN THEIR CONTRACT.
- IU Health University and Methodist are teaching facilities and require all travel nurses to agree to the possibility of precepting and / or being assigned students to shadow them while on assignment.
- Traveler must have IN / Compact license in hand or have submitted their fingerprint application package for their license to apply for this position.
- First Time Travelers Accepted with Level 1 Trauma Experience.
- Shift Requirements : 4x12 or 3x12.
- Call-Ins : If a traveler call-ins for a contracted shift, the traveler is expected to make up the day during the pay period, or if unable, then the shift will be added at the end of the traveler contract.
- Charge coverage : Pending operational needs, unit charge nurse responsibilities may be needed with provided training and resources.
- Floating Requirements : Unit travelers may be expected to float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) with resources provided if needed at both University and Methodist Hospitals.
