Currently, we’re hiring a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist to work in a school located in Chicago, Illinois.

Speech-Language Pathologist Contract Details :

  • $45 -$48 an hour
  • School Year
  • Hours per week : Full-time. 37.5 hours / week
  • Start Date : August
  • End Date : May
  • Location : In-person
  • Details : School Speech-Language Pathologist for Chicago metro area. In-person only and will also consider part-time candidates.
  • Could be working with students who have difficulty swallowing, or students with communication disorders
  • SLP will work with students to assess, screen, evaluate, and share results with parents and the school interdisciplinary team
  • SLP will develop and implement IEPs for students while reviewing goals and objectives to make recommendations for appropriate care plans
  • Will be expected to establish a positive learning environment while providing response to intervention for the needs of each student

Requirements :

  • Master’s degree in education or equivalent experience with a bachelor’s degree
  • Illinois SLP License
  • American Heart Association BLS
  • School Experience is Preferred but not required
  • ASHA Certification
