JOB FUNCTIONS : The RN is responsible for the assessment, monitoring, and care of patients during Vascular / Interventional Radiology procedures including the administration of procedural sedation.
Additional duties include assisting the physician during procedures.
The RN will be required to take night and weekend call which is currently working out to 10 required call shifts per month.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
RN's with ER or ICU experience or previous experience in a procedural area are preferred. Current LA RN licensure, BLS, ACLS are REQUIRED.
RN with 2 years' experience preferred in Perioperative area, but not required.
ACLS / BLS Certified
40 hours a week with 10-14 days of required call on nights / weekends
Shift times vary. Must be able to arrive as early as 6 : 00am
