Family Medicine Opportunity in Northern Idaho - OB Optional!!

Hospital is seeking a Family Practice physician to join our existing employed physician group. We currently have four Family Practice physicians and four mid level providers in our three clinics.

An additional private family physician practices in town and shares ER call with our employed doctors. Physicians have an outpatient practice and share an ER call rotation between five physicians and some weekend relief staff.

We are particularly interested in a physician with an interest in procedures, OB and / or C-Sections but the primary goal is hire a physician who wants to be part of the team and community.

One of our physicians is relocating back to his home town next June and this is the reason we are seeking another physician.

It is a 15-bed Critical Access Hospital located in beautiful Northern Idaho. We have a wonderful staff and extraordinary technology for a hospital our size.

We offer mammography, ultrasound, mobile MRI, complete lab diagnostics, and Hospice services. The hospital has a full time anesthetist on staff and we have both a small surgery suite and one procedure room.

The hospital based clinic also has two procedure rooms. A general surgeon comes from a nearby town twice a month to perform surgery.

The ER has four beds and of the 15 patient beds, two are LDRP rooms.

Located at the edge of the Bitterroot Mountains to the south and the Camas Prairie to the north, the town e is located in a beautiful County which has a population of 18,000 residents.

The community has 3,800 residents at an elevation of 3,500 feet, and features warm summer days, mild winters and four seasons of outdoor recreation.

Five major rivers cut through this diverse landscape offering a variety of seasonal recreation including world class fishing, hunting and superb whitewater rafting.

A city owned ski hill is just 10 minutes from town and a major ski resort located an easy 90 minute drive from town.

The community is the hub of a network of over 600 miles of groomed snowmobile trails which are popular with 4-wheeler and mountain biking enthusiasts in the spring and summer months.

Two national forests are right in your backyard with bird and big game hunting, hiking, and camping opportunities just minutes from town.

Morel mushroom and a variety of berry picking seasons are popular spring and summer activities.
