Job Title : Mold Technician / Tool Maker
Position Summary :
The Mold Preventive Maintenance Technician / Tool Maker will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a Preventive Maintenance program for all Plastic Injection Molds.
The primary responsibilities include developing standards and procedures for preventive maintenance, maintaining accurate records, and performing maintenance activities.
This role requires logging all activities for each mold to ensure a comprehensive history is maintained. Additional responsibilities will include fulfilling Tool Maker duties as needed.
Adherence to safety rules and best practices is essential.
Shift : 2 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Duties : Mold Technician :
Mold Technician :
Retrieve molds from storage and prepare for molding per the schedule.
Perform preventive maintenance based on priority.
Prepare molds for storage and ensure proper placement.
Maintain required documentation in a log.
Collaborate with the Molding Department to schedule maintenance and avoid production conflicts.
Assist with job planning related to tooling projects.
Suggest and implement improvements in efficiency, quality, and safety.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
Set up necessary equipment and machinery.
Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements through GMPs and documentation.
Tool Maker :
Prepare molds for production.
Read, interpret, and analyze blueprints; determine required machine operations and finish requirements.
Inspect tools for defects and perform necessary repairs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
