Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Room (ER)
Location : Olympia, WA
Number of Weeks : 13
Shifts : Night 3x12-Hour (7 : 00 PM 7 : 30 AM)
Start Date : October 29, 2024
Years of Experience Required : Minimum 2 years of ER experience
Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend
On-Call Requirement : None currently
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide high-quality care to patients in the ER department
- Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1 : 4
- Float between similar units as needed within skill set
Additional Information :
- Block Schedules : Not open to accommodating block schedules
- Locals Accepted : No, candidates must live 50+ miles from the facility
- Orientation : 40 hours (non-billable)
- Charting System : EPIC
- Vaccination Requirements : COVID-19 vaccine required (exemptions allowed)
- Certifications Required : ACLS, BCLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC
Special Requirements :
- Must commit to working 3 out of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Floating is expected between units and possibly to nearby sister hospitals
- Reliable transportation required
