Job brief
Local experienced entrepreneur in facilities maintenance and real estate needs a Trainee / Assistant for support of his day-to-day operations and business ventures.
Will train in various admin, client, tenant and construction techniques.
Responsibilities
- Admin responsibilities : Maintain Manager's Schedule. Remind him as needed of appointments, etc.
- Maintain and Update records and files.
- Prepare leases, legal, and formal documents.
- Property maintenance : Inspect property conditions and coordinate repairs.
- Process tenant rental applications. Show properties, conduct interviews, handle tenant complaints, and maintain relationships between staff and tenants.
- Provide minor repairs, take measurements, order project supplies, etc.
- Communication : Maintain line of communication with Manager via email / phone / text.
- Report any problems or issues to the Manager.
Requirements and skills
- Have work experience or demonstrate capability and desire to learn above tasks / roles.
- Working knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Spanish speaking a plus.
- Reliable and flexible availability
Applicant must be conscientious, willing to learn and follow directions. CDL and good communications skills a must!
