KMEA is an environmental, energy, engineering and sustainability (E3S) consulting company providing professional engineering, scientific, and technical services to our clients throughout the United States and internationally.
We are seeking a Certified Construction Manager to work on-site at Edward R. Roybal Federal Building in Los Angeles, California.
Working at this location is a requirement for the job.
Main Responsibilities
Establishes and maintains proper business-like relations with representatives of the GSA Project Delivery Team, the occupants and other project participants.
Oversees technical and administrative activities for design-build project to upgrade HVAC at Roybal Federal Building, Los Angeles, CA.
Key responsibilities :
- Review and approve drawings as design reviewers.
- Provide design review and suggestions for correcting errors.
- Assist the Government in providing direction and control of design and construction phase activities.
- Manage the inspections of physical work performance and installations of materials / components.
- Follows company safety standards and site safety standards.
- Understands and adheres to company policies.
- Prepare cost estimates.
- Review and prepare invoices.
- Performs most assignments independently but consults with others and receives technical guidance on unusual or complex problems.
- Plans work and meets deadlines without supervisor action.
