About The Position
- Job Title : Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Job Specialty : Rehabilitation Therapy Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Days Guaranteed Hours : 36 Experience : New graduates are welcome;
- SNF experience preferred License : Current certification required Certifications : Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Must-Have : Resume and license verification must be attached;
a COVID test is required 72 hours prior to the start date, with results issued 48 hours before starting. Job Description : Assist with the development and implementation of rehabilitative programs for patients.
- Support patients by helping them improve their ability to perform tasks in their daily living and working environments.
- Collaborate with occupational therapists to evaluate patient needs and develop appropriate therapy plans.- Record patient progress, provide updates to supervising therapists, and adjust treatments as necessary.
- Encourage patients and provide emotional support during therapy sessions.- Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for all patients.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.- Adhere to facility guidelines, policies, and procedures.- Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical and legal standards.
