We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legal Intake Specialist to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview

As a Legal Intake Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the initial client intake process for mass tort and mass action cases.

This includes managing inbound calls, qualifying potential clients, and providing a high level of customer service. You'll work with prospective clients to determine eligibility, while making sure they feel comfortable with the firm.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, a commitment to providing outstanding client service and a strong understanding of mass tort litigation.

Key Job Responsibilities :

• Conduct a high volume of initial intake interviews with potential clients.
• Use empathy to connect with prospective clients and help them understand the legal process.
• Demonstrate excellent telephone communication skills and the ability to quickly build rapport.
• Collect and document detailed information regarding the client’s case, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Provide potential clients with information about the firm's services and the mass tort litigation process.
• Maintain detailed and organized records of all client interactions and case information in the firm's case management system.
• Communicate effectively with attorneys and other legal staff to relay important case details and client information.
• Assist with scheduling appointments and follow-up communications with potential clients.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and ethical standards in the intake process.
• Provide exceptional customer service to potential clients, addressing their questions and concerns promptly and professionally.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Prior experience in a legal setting, preferably in mass tort litigation or personal injury law.
• Strong understanding of mass tort litigation and related legal concepts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Proficiency in using case management software and other relevant technology.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with potential clients.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
