Registered Nurse (RN) - Perinatal - Full Time Night Shift

Responsibilities

We are looking for an RN with experience in Labor & Delivery as well as Postpartum, who is passionate about their work.

This full-time opportunity offers 36-hours per week with full benefits. There is an opportunity for overtime and to cover various shifts if interested.

This position also qualifies for our $15,000.00 sign-on bonus!

Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs Hospital in Murrieta, California , is a 120 bed acute-care hospital with the region's only Pediatric Emergency Services team (for children 14 and under) provided by board certified Rady Children’s emergency medicine physicians.

Rancho Springs Hospital also provides the area's only OB / Emergency Department program, which gives expectant mothers 24 / 7 on-site access to OB / GYN physician coverage.

The Childbirth Center at Rancho Springs Hospital is the largest in the region and features spacious family-friendly private suites.

Rancho's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is operated by Rady Children’s.

Staff Registered Nurses are responsible for providing excellence in patient care, collaborative and comprehensive care based on patient and / or family needs, providing assessments, treatment and care on assigned units.

Will provide care for patients throughout the continuum of care, including management of pain, invasive lines and surgical drains.

Staff Registered Nurses will also practice in accordance with all regulatory, professional, legal and hospital policies as well as consistently demonstrate behaviors that model the Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Hospitals’ Core Values and the hospitals mission statement

Qualifications

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

Perinatal RNs are required to have one year experience as a Registered Nurse in BOTH Labor&Delivery and Couplet Care / Postpartum.

Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing program.

BSN Preferred

REQUIRED LICENSURE / CERTIFICATIONS

California RN license.

AWHONN Fetal Monitoring. Successful completion of course every two years.

Advanced NRP Successful completion of course of the AAP and AHA.
