Job Title : Bilingual Auto Repossession Specialist
Location : Irving, TX
Hybrid Schedule : Enjoy the flexibility of working 2 days on-site and the rest remotely!
Pay : $23.00 / hour
Schedule : Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM, no weekends!
As a Bilingual Auto Repossession Specialist, you ll play a pivotal role as part of the recovery team, using your expertise to locate and help recover vehicles.
Key Responsibilities :
Managing OFR accounts and repossessed vehicles.
Review and manage active skip cases, utilizing skip tracing techniques to gather information that assists repossession agents in recovering vehicles.
You'll perform deep dive research to locate individuals who have defaulted on their loans.
Work closely with repossession vendors, managing communications, reviewing repossession fees, and approving expenses to ensure the process is cost-efficient and timely.
Make outbound calls to delinquent customers to set up payment arrangements, resolve overdue accounts, and provide guidance on the recovery process.
You ll also handle inbound redemption calls, assisting customers with account status, payment options, and repossession details.
Track all communications, actions taken on accounts, and vehicle statuses, providing accurate updates to management. Ensure all account actions align with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements.
Provide clear, respectful communication to customers, addressing their concerns, explaining the repossession process, and finding ways to help them meet payment obligations before proceeding with asset recovery.
Identify accounts that may need managerial review due to complexity, disputes, or special circumstances. Escalate these cases appropriately to ensure smooth resolution.
Required Experience / Qualifications :
Required : Must be fluent in both English and Spanish to effectively communicate with a diverse client base.
Required : A minimum of 1+ year of experience in collections, loss mitigation, skip tracing, or repossession work .
Knowledge of the repossession process and skip tracing tools / techniques is highly desirable.
Required : Previous experience in customer service in a call center environment, where you ve managed difficult conversations and found solutions to customer issues.
Ability to manage multiple accounts, follow through with precise documentation, and adhere to strict deadlines.
You can think critically and navigate complex situations with confidence, working both independently and collaboratively with team members.
