Reporting to the Director of Surgical Services and / or Assistant Director, the Specialty Nurse has responsibility for the coordination of care for a specific specialty.
The Specialty Nurse is an RN with recognized leadership abilities and strong clinical background, who will actively assist the Director in developing, implementing and evaluating programs for improving the quality of care in the Operating Room.
This position is responsible for problem solving, coordinating and maintaining unit resources on an ongoing basis and other duties as assigned.
The tradition of caring that culminated in the establishment of Corona Regional Medical Center® began in 5, with the founding of Corona Community Hospital.
Since that time the hospital has changed to meet the needs of the rapidly growing community. Corona Community Hospital merged with Circle City Medical Center in 2 and the resulting entity became Corona Regional Medical Center.
The merged hospitals are now a -bed community hospital network comprised of a -bed acute care hospital and a -bed rehabilitation campus.

Qualifications
Position Requirements :
- Current California RN License required.
- Current BLS (CPR) through the American Heart Association.
- ACLS certificates required.
- C.N.O.R. preferred.
- Minimum two years experience as OR staff nurse required.
