Delta College is looking for an adjunct instructor for the Surgical Technology program. Adjunct instructor will be responsible for teaching in-person section(s) at main campus and / or virtually.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities :
- Understanding of and ability to work with a diverse student population
- Use of email, internet-based resources, and common Office software
- Ability to teach in a variety of formats, including incorporating online learning systems
- Understanding of ADA requirements and willingness to create accessible materials
- Effective interpersonal skills

Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Surgical Technology
- Health-related Bachelor degree
- Graduate of an education program in surgical technology that is also accredited by a nationally recognized programmatic accreditation agency.
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification from the NBSAST
- BLS certification (current or upon hire)
- Minimum total of two years of experience, either in the operating room scrub role or as an instructor in surgical technology, or a combination of both, within the past five years
Additional Experiences Considered
Teaching experience in a Surgical Technology Program preferred.
