Job Responsibilities
- As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, servicing and maintaining assembly machinery at our customer's manufacturing plants
- Install, maintain and repair machine tooling and mechanics, electronics and pneumatics
- Ensure customer satisfaction through service excellence
- Provide customer training and start-up support
- Identify, analyze, and repair equipment failures
- Strategically promote, educate and market products and services to customers
- Travel overnight as required by workload to complete service calls outside of normal geographic location
Job Qualifications
- HS Diploma or Associates Degree
- Experience troubleshooting and responding to customer concerns 3-5 years in the practical application of electronics and technology 3-5 years of design, build or troubleshooting of pneumatic and / or hydraulic assembly machinery preferred
- Knowledge of servo motors and drives
- Ability to read electrical schematics and engineering drawings
- Knowledge and understanding of PLC's and HMIs
- Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics and automated machine functions and can troubleshoot
