Golang Developer

Infosys is seeking a Golang Developer . As a Golang developer, you will be contributing to the project team with developing, creating, integrating, deploying, and maintaining backend systems and applications using Golang as a primary language with frameworks such as Gin-Gonic, Gorilla Mux, and Go-Chi.

The responsibilities include swiftly responding to service requests, troubleshooting issues, and escalating complex problems when necessary.

You will guide users through problem-solving steps, install and configure software, and maintain comprehensive documentation of support activities.

Required Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of relevant Information Technology experience.
• U.S. Citizens or those authorized to work in the US are encouraged to apply. We are not able to sponsor at this time.
• Location for this position is Phoenix, AZ. This position may require travel to project / client location(s).

Preferred Qualifications :

• At least 2 years of experience with Golang, Apache Kafka, any SQL or NoSQL DB knowledge (Cassandra, MongoDB, SQL, or Oracle), Docker, Jenkins, and Agile work environment.
• Experience with Golang frameworks like Gin-Gonic, Gorilla Mux, and Go-Chi for the development of RESTful APIs.
• Proficient in implementing complex algorithms and concurrent executions using Go-routines, Channels, and Mutexes.
• Good understanding of Golang fundamentals, including data structures like Maps, Slices, and generics for dynamic data handling.
• Experience in REST API development, distributed systems concepts, and cloud technologies.
• Understanding of OOP concepts, algorithms, and data structures.
• Experience with SQL databases like Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and NoSQL databases like MongoDB and Cassandra for data storage and retrieval, resulting in improved application efficiency.
• Experience with frameworks like Ginkgo, Go-omega, and Testify for development and testing of enterprise applications.
• Experience in implementing responsive and interactive user interfaces using Vue.js components, enabling a seamless user experience across devices.
• Experience with CI / CD (Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment) tools such as Jenkins and Azure Pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployment.
