Program Manager

Input Technology Solutions is currently seeking a Program Manager for a potential contract to provide IT Support Services to the US Army in Fort Jackson, South Carolina.

Job Summary :

The Program Manager (PM) shall be responsible for the performance of the work under this contract and have full authority to act as the PM on all contract matters relating to the daily operation of this contract.

The PM will be available between the specific hours of 7 : 30 AM and 4 : 30 PM, Monday through Friday, except for federal holidays or when the government facility is closed for administrative reasons.

The PM will need to complete a valor course issued by Fort Jackson before starting the contract.

The PM is responsible for providing support services on various IT and AV issues, including interpreting policies, conducting analyses, testing and optimizing system functionality, identifying business requirements, evaluating proposals, preparing reports, representing the organization, and providing technical leadership.

The PM will ensure the installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintain hardware and software to ensure system availability and functionality.

PM also oversees the customer support team, providing comprehensive knowledge of various applications, operating systems, protocols, and equipment used in customer organizations.

The PM will monitor system performance, detect and report problems, participate in testing and upgrades, provide information and assistance, and participate in major system changes.

Position Requirements :

  • US Citizen
  • 5 years of Program Management experience
  • IT and AV background
  • Hybrid availability
  • Physically fit and able to perform duties requiring moderate lifting (not to exceed 45 lbs), long periods of standing, sitting, or walking, and inclement weather conditions on occasion.

Key duties :

  • Interpreting Policies : interprets policies related to IT and AV issues and ensures compliance within the organization.
  • Conducting Analyses : conduct analyses to assess system performance, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions to optimize system functionality.
  • Identifying Business Requirements : They work closely with stakeholders to identify and prioritize business requirements for IT and AV systems, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Evaluating Proposals evaluates proposals for new technologies, upgrades, or system enhancements, assessing their feasibility and potential impact on system functionality.
  • Prepared Reports : Prepare comprehensive reports on system performance, project status, and other relevant metrics to inform decision-making and facilitate communication with stakeholders.
  • Representing the Organization : serves as a representative of the organization in meetings, conferences, and other forums, advocating for the organization's interests and priorities.
  • Providing Technical Leadership : provide technical leadership and guidance to the customer support team, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills necessary to support various applications, operating systems, and equipment.
  • Overseeing Customer Support : oversees the customer support team, ensuring timely resolution of IT and AV issues and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Monitoring System Performance : monitor system performance, detect and report problems, and implement corrective actions to ensure system availability and functionality.
  • Participating in Testing and Upgrades : participates in testing and upgrades of IT and AV systems, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to operations.
  • Providing Information and Assistance : They provide information and assistance to end-users, helping them troubleshoot issues, navigate systems, and maximize productivity.
  • Participating in Major System Changes : actively participates in major system changes, including deployments, migrations, and upgrades, to ensure successful implementation and minimize risks.
