A company in the medical research industry located in Phoenix, AZ is currently looking for a Principal Network Architect to add to their growing team.
As a Principal Network Architect, you'll play a crucial role in translating corporate strategies into innovative architectural solutions.
You'll work alongside other experts to craft secure, scalable, and high-performance network infrastructures, leveraging your deep knowledge in data center and campus network architecture, automation, and cloud environments like AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Your leadership will drive modernization efforts, improve internal processes, and ensure our network solutions meet both business needs and industry standards.

Required Skills & Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- At least 5+ years in a leadership role focused on network engineering or architecture, and a minimum of 10+ years overall experience as a network engineer.
- Demonstrated proficiency with a range of networking and security platforms, including but not limited to Cisco and Juniper routers and switches, Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco ASA, and both Juniper and Cisco wireless solutions.
- Deep expertise in Palo Alto and Cloud Native firewall technologies, along with a robust understanding of wireless systems, VOIP, QoS, network segmentation, and security measures, including firewalls.
- Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and drive transformative changes.
- Experienced in managing and implementing solutions for cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments.
- Knowledgeable in best practices for implementing HIPAA, PCI, and PII compliance measures.
- Exceptional organizational and project management abilities, with strong troubleshooting skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Demonstrated capability to mentor, coach, and develop engineers.
Desired Skills & Experience
- CCIE, CCNP, CEA or Palo PCNSA certifications are a big plus
- Service now experience
- Experience working in a healthcare organization
