Client Services Specialist

Responsibilities :

  • Receives and logs in samples in a timely and accurate manner
  • Communicates and provides information by appropriate methods internally and externally to assist and enable organizational operations and effective service to connecting groups
  • Makes pick-ups and deliveries of sample materials in the Greater Seattle area using company van
  • When in office, assists with the Front Desk responsibilities, described in the company’s manual, in a professional, courteous and timely manner and is comfortable multi-tasking
  • Answers a high volume of calls and maintains a rapid response rate according to company standards
  • Effectively communicates and liaises verbally and in writing with customers / suppliers / visitors / enquirers and staff
  • Represents company at trade shows
  • Responds to customer requests for copying and mailing reports and various documents
  • Interprets instructions and issues that arise and then implements appropriate actions in accordance with the company’s administrative policies and procedures
  • Participates in meetings, conferences, and project team activities
  • Adheres to stated company policies and procedures relating to health and safety, and quality management
  • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors and the general public
  • Maintains consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, and appearance
  • Pursues personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of the role
  • Performs all duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications :

  • Four year college degree preferred
  • A minimum 1 Year of experience in a Customer Service position
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
  • WA State Drivers license and good driving record
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle of van size for deliveries and pick-ups for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to use software applications including MS Word and Excel to perform Data Entry
  • The ability to provide excellent customer service and handle client telephone calls in a courteous manner
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have accurate data entry skills
  • A minimum typing speed of 40-45 WPM
  • The ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have strong problem solving skills
  • Requires a strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions :

  • The functions of this position are performed both driving company van and picking up and delivering sample materials in the Greater Seattle area, as well as working in an office environment.
  • Requires the ability to use computer, keyboard, and operate office equipment.
  • Regular activities include frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching, bending, lifting and climbing stairs
  • Requires close visual acuity for viewing a computer screen and reading, preparing and analyzing data
  • Ability to speak, hear, and communicate clearly while handling telephone calls and customer requests
  • Requires repetitive motions of the wrists, hands and fingers for typing at a standard keyboard
  • The ability to lift 30 pounds on a frequent basis.
