Job Description
The NBC Integrated Design is seeking a Designer to join our award-winning in-house design team. The Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing and designing compelling creative solutions for all marketing efforts including, but not limited to key art, outdoor, and print advertising.
The candidate will report to a Creative Director, but will also work directly with other Creative Directors, Designers, Writers, and Project Managers on any given project.
The NBC Integrated Design team is an in-house, multidisciplinary creative team. We execute 360 marketing campaigns in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment.
Our deliverables include key art, outdoor advertising, social and digital design, motion graphics, as well as corporate presentations, branding, and collateral.
Responsibilities :
- Conceive, design, and develop concepts for all marketing needs in a collaborative team environment
- Design thoughtful, compelling, and strategic design solutions for use in multiplatform marketing efforts, with a focus on key art, outdoor advertising, and logo development
- Resize and recompose designs for various deliverables
- Collaborate with writers, print designers, motion graphic designers, digital designers, and social designers to ensure continuity of campaign design aesthetic, and share assets as needed
- Work closely and take direction from the Creative Director on all projects
- Work with production and project managers to deliver all projects on deadline
Qualifications
Basic Requirements :
- in Graphic Design or 2+ years of design experience, preferably in television or theatrical entertainment
- Ability to clearly articulate ideas and concepts to senior creative leadership and other key stakeholders
- A portfolio that demonstrates a sophisticated design aesthetic, as well as excellent Photoshop skills
- Strong creative concept, design, and typographical skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, and InDesign
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Desired Characteristics :
- Strong organizational skills and a keen attention to detail
- Knowledge of photography techniques and lighting
- Strong eye for choosing photography for use in key art development
- Experience and knowledge of the print production process, as well as printing techniques
- Ability to manage multiple assignments, work under tight deadlines, and participate as a team player

Hybrid : This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

Salary range : $100,000 - $125,000
