Job Title : Senior Python Developer
Location(s) : Mclean, VA / Richmond, VA
Skills :
Strong Python skills, experience with AWS technologies such as SQS, and Lambda preferred.
Awareness of Java is helpful but not required.
Basic Qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience (Internship experience does not apply)
Preferred Qualifications :
- 5+ years of experience in Python, Java
- 3+ years of experience with AWS, Lambda Step Functions
- 2+ years of experience in the AWS Ecosystem in at least one of the following :
- ECS / Fargate, Lambda, ELB, RT53, S3, Cloudwatch, Aurora, DynamoDB, RDS or Elasticache
- 1+ years of experience in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Boto3, Terraform, CFT or Ansible
- 2+ years of experience in DevOps tools such as Jenkins or Docker
- 4+ years of experience in open-source frameworks
- 2+ years of experience in Agile practices
