Overview
We are seeking an Investment Specialist / Trader that is detail oriented, highly organized, has strong problem solving and analytical skills.
This individual will be responsible for closely collaborating with other members of the department to support the investment direction of the organization including designing and implementing the investment process, asset allocation, selection of investment vehicles and construction of in-house investment strategies.
Duties and responsibilities
- Daily trading of Trajan Wealth investment strategies including new account implementations, cash raises / liquidations and other special needs as needed.
- Investment research including company specific research, portfolio modeling and other projects as assigned by the Chief Investment Officer or Director of Fixed Income.
- Collaborate with and support the Trajan Advisors regarding prospect analysis and other research requests.
- Prepare special reports as requested by the CIO or Director of Fixed Income.
- Additional duties as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Finance, Economics, or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience as an Investment Analyst or Trader
- Working knowledge of the financial markets including stocks, bonds, and other asset classes
- An attention to detail and an ability to think creatively with good problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team
