Our client is currently seeking a Bridge & Structures Design Engineer.
Job Duties :
- Develop structural construction documents and specifications under the supervision of a Professional Engineer.
- Participate and assist the team with planning, design and structural inspection of various structural engineering projects.
- Contribute to the preparation of planning documents, engineering plans, details, reports, specifications and cost estimates.
- Assist in coordinating with clients, regulators and permitting agencies.
- Help prepare contract documents for bidding.
- Compete field assignments like data collection and structural construction observation.
Requirements :
- BS degree in Civil Engineering or a related Engineering degree from an ABET accredited program
- 2-5 years relevant work experience, previous professional internships / co-op experience preferred
- AutoCAD Civil 3D and / or MicroStation experience
Preferred :
- Passed Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam
- INDOT project experience
Pay Rate :
$60 75k, depending on experience
