JANUS Research Group is seeking a Senior Program Manager in support of the NAWCAD WOLF IC2&IS division to perform tasks in support of assigned Distance Learning and Knowledge Management related technologies and systems.
Job Responsibilities :
- Responsible for the overall lead, manager, and administrator for the contracted effort in support of DL.
- Serves as the primary interface and point of contact with Government program authorities and representatives on technical and program / project issues.
- Oversees contractor personnel program / project operations by developing procedures, planning, and directing execution of the technical, programming, maintenance, and administrative support effort and monitoring and reporting progress.
- Manages acquisition and employment of program / project resources and controls financial and administrative aspects of the program / project with respect to contract requirements.
Required Education and Experience :
- Master's degree in Technical, Computer Science or IT discipline or Bachelor's degree plus ten years of additional work experience
- Of the minimum 10 years of required experience, at least 5 years of the experience must be in the management of complex computer systems efforts to include content development and maintenance projects for training programs.
- Active Project Management Professional Certification required
