JOB DETAILS
Base Pay : $18.00 per hour plus $1.00 differetial pay
2nd Shift : 1 : 30 pm - 10 : 00 pm
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manual material handling, packaging, stacking material, and assisting machine operators.
- Utilize scanning equipment
- Inspect work visually for defects according to quality standards
- Serve as a positive role model consistent with Cornerstone Building Brands Mission, Vision and Core Values
- Provide cost-saving suggestions and ideas to improve productivity and eliminate waste
- Willing to learn and take on additional tasks as assigned
- Team player and keeping safety first
Qualifications
- A minimum of one (1) year of related work experience in manufacturing or comparable work environment
- General mathematical knowledge and proficiency with basic measuring instruments
- Comfort and familiarity with basic powered hand tools
- Forklift experience
- Overhead crane experience
- Able to work in a hot environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
