Field Service Electrical Supervisor $33+ (Hourly + $75 per diem when working in the field) -
JOURNEYMAN / ELECTRICAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED (Minimum of 5 years of experience)

- Supervise the installation of electrical and mechanical equipment during on-site field visits.
- Address technical issues reported by customers and perform routine repairs as necessary.
- Collaborate closely with customers to ensure effective communication and exceptional service.
- Ensure that all new or modified equipment installations and electrical components meet industry standards, company standards, and customer specifications.
- Evaluate performance reports and customer documentation, and inspect faulty or damaged equipment to identify the cause and extent of the problem.
- Analyze inspection reports to determine the root cause of issues.
- Implement repairs, replacements, or other corrective measures. Coordinate with Field Service, Engineering, and other departments within the company to expedite repairs.
- Maintain records of reports.
- Submit reports to the Field Service Supervisor.
- Provide recommendations to the Field Service Supervisor regarding recurring equipment problems observed in the field, in order to initiate corrective actions in design, production, and / or service to eliminate future issues.
The candidate must have regular attendance, punctuality, and the ability to work on-site and work overtime. The candidate should also have the ability to work collaboratively with others, demonstrate respect when interacting with the public, customers, vendors, coworkers, managers, and executive management.
The candidate should be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced environment. They will lead employees within the field service department, overseeing their work, ensuring their safety, planning assignments, determining techniques to be used, and allocating work among employees.
The candidate will act in accordance with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws. They must maintain a professional demeanor when communicating with employees, whether in one-on-one or group settings.
Responsibilities will include planning, coordinating, and managing work as well as resolving problems. The candidate should have a minimum of two to three years of experience as an electrical journeyman or an equivalent combination of education and experience, including maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical equipment.
They should also have at least 5 years of experience in a lead / supervisory capacity. 70% Travel - $75 / hour for meals and incidentals.
The company covers travel, fuel, and lodging expenses. Overtime - Most weeks entail 50 hours of work, which includes 10 hours of overtime, and occasionally, more than that.
