Financial Operations, Vice President

The Opportunity :

As a VP in our Delivery Hub, Booz Allen’s Multi-Function Shared Services organization, you have the experience and skills to ensure the high functioning Financial Operations team is effective, efficient, timely, and valuable for internal and external clients.

The Delivery Hub is a newly formed organization and is undergoing significant transformation to enable Booz Allen to scale with future growth.

You know how to interface with internal and external customers and stakeholders to understand needs and gain insight on performance.

As part of the Business Services team in the Delivery Hub, you will lead transformation of our Financial Operations to be more technology forward, including adopting AI and Robotic Process Automation, and provide strategic leadership and oversight to day-to-day operations of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and supplier services, ensuring the team is consistently meeting delivery agreements and standards.

How You’ll Contribute :

Establish a culture committed to top notch delivery, teamwork, and accountability by promoting use of standards and metrics and building relationships within the team and our business.

Guide team in meeting customer’s needs that are consistent with the organization’s philosophy, mission, vision, and strategic plan.

Provide coaching and guidance to team members to improve performance and capabilities, identify training needs, and develop staff skills.

Provide strategic advisement and work closely with leaders to improve transformation experiences and processes.

Set, execute, and measure performance goals and lead efforts to change and continuously improve.

Lead business process transformation to scale a business for growth.

Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

You Have :

15+ years of experience in a financial role

Experience leading accounts payable and accounts receivable, at the enterprise level

Experience in end-to-end business and finance transformation across people, process, technology, and data

Experience in end-to-end business process optimization, enabling improved efficiency, enhanced end-user experience, higher quality results, and performance monitoring

Experience with federal government contracting regulations

Experience leading through others, developing strong leaders, and effectively managing change

Ability to travel to Norfolk, VA up to 25 50% of the time

HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have :

Experience in project management and continuous improvement methodologies, operating in a highly regulated environment and adhering to financial controls and compliance

Experience with Deltek Costpoint ERP

Experience in Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A)

Bachelor’s degree

Accounting Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $220,000 to $364,000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
