Commercial Construction Safety Manager
Location : Seattle, WA
Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Commercial Construction Safety Manager based in Seattle, WA. The ideal candidate will have a stable work history and at least five years of experience in construction safety oversight.
Preferred qualifications include additional safety certifications and degrees such as CSP and CHSO. The candidate should be capable of working for leading commercial mechanical, electrical, or general contractors.
Responsibilities
- Safety Oversight : Provide comprehensive safety management for construction projects, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards.
- Risk Management : Identify potential hazards and implement preventive measures to mitigate risks on site.
- Training : Conduct training sessions for construction personnel to promote a safety culture.
- Incident Investigation : Lead investigations into safety incidents to determine causes and implement corrective actions.
- Compliance : Ensure all safety practices adhere to local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience : Minimum of five years of construction safety oversight.
- Certifications : OSHA 500 certification; additional certifications like CSP and CHSO preferred.
- Education : Degree in occupational safety, health, engineering, or a related field.
- Skills : Strong knowledge of safety regulations, excellent communication and training skills.
- Local and Stable Work History : Proven track record of stability and reliability in previous roles within the Seattle area.
