Role description : Arcadis is seeking a Civil Engineer / Environmental Engineering Intern to support an expanding portfolio of projects in our New York, NY or Fair Lawn, NJ office in Summer 2025.

Role accountabilities : The position will include, but is not limited to, activities such as : Civil / Environmental engineering design including land development planning, hydraulic modeling / calculations, erosion and sediment control evaluations and layout, and earthwork site designDeveloping permit / construction-level drawings and detailsPreparing technical specificationsReport writing for civil and environmental permittingConstruction cost evaluation / estimatingOffice-based support of active construction projects (e.

g., submittal reviews, field change documentation, site layout information)Candidates must demonstrate effective communication skills, the ability to work well in a team environment, and be proficient with Microsoft office.

The candidate will have a strong desire to pursue a career in the civil and / or environmental engineering sector.Qualifications & Experience : Required Qualifications : Pursuing a B.

S. in Civil, Environmental, or related engineering discipline.Arcadis offers benefits for part-time, as needed positions.
