Position : Hospitalist

Overview : We are starting a new Hospitalist program and are looking for one more physician to join our team. This is a hospital-based employed position that is well supported by the community physicians.
Schedule : 7 days on and then 7 days off, on call for 24 hours.
Responsibilities :
- Manage ICU patients and ventilator management.
- Work designated shifts with no other call requirements.
- Average daily census is currently 13, expected to increase.
Qualifications :
- Board Certified or Board Eligible Internist with plans to become certified (MD or DO).
- Comfortable and proficient with ventilator management and ICU patient management.
- Central lines and intubations are not required but helpful.
- Open to practicing candidates or new residents / fellows.
Facility : We have a 6-bed open ICU and are in the process of a $9 million project for a complete replacement ICU unit, expected to begin within the next 3 months.
Compensation : $250K range + full benefits package.
Notes : We can consider a Family Physician with deep experience in the ICU and adult medicine.
