Soliant Health is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team for an immediate opportunity within a well-regarded school district in Long Beach, CA.
This is a full-time position requiring onsite presence for the remainder of the school year.
Job Description :
As an Occupational Therapist, you will play an integral role in supporting the educational objectives and developmental needs of students within the Long Beach school district.
Your responsibilities will include :
- Delivering comprehensive occupational therapy services in line with students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) or 504 plans.
- Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs and monitor progress.
- Collaborating effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals to devise and implement tailored treatment plans.
- Maintaining accurate documentation of student progress and interventions.
Qualifications :
- Valid California state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Prior experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for productive collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to assess individual student needs and adapt strategies to support their success within an educational context.
